| How
can I get a copy of a show?
This may be a quick question, but the answer is anything but quick. Or simple. First, in order to get a copy of a show that has aired on 'Olelo, you need to have permission from the show's producer. We can help you with that. Just call our Programming department at 834-0007, extension 120, and let us know the title of the show and when it aired. We'll track down the producer, obtain permission to make a dub, and call you back. You can either bring in your own VHS tape or buy one at our Mapunapuna Media Center for $4. The cost of dubbing is $10 for a half hour show and $15 for an hour show. This dubbing policy does not apply to programming that appears on Channels 54, 55 & 56. For Legislative programming, we recommend that you simply dub off the air. To obtain dubs of educational programming produced by the Department of Education or the University of Hawaii, you must contact those organizations. |

If I'm not interested in making my own show, can I still train to volunteer? What do I need to do to use 'Olelo equipment? How do I schedule equipment or an edit bay? |
