
‘Ōlelo Youth Make an Impression at the Alliance for Community Media Conference in Washington D.C.
Wai`anae and Nanakuli High School and college students from ‘Ōlelo Community Media’s Wai‘anae Community Media Center were in Washington, D.C. learning from and teaching community media professionals at the Alliance for Community Media’s (ACM) international conference July 9-12, 2008. They were the first Hawaii students to teach at this annual conference, which attracts more than 300 attendees from the nation and world. It was the students' very first trip to Washington, D.C.
