MINISTUDIO PRODUCTION
Fee: $75
Prerequisite: None
Class Availability: All Community Media Centers
MiniStudio production class provides 12 hours of training and requires 8 hours of supervised volunteer MiniStudio production time which results in the ability to fully operate a multi-camera, robotic, live-to-tape production set up.
STUDIO PRODUCTION
Fee: $75
Prerequisite: None
Class Availability: Māpunapuna, Pālolo/Kaimukī, Wai‘anae, Waipahu
Studio production class provides 12 hours of training and requires 12 hours of supervised volunteer time which results in the ability to produce a program in ‘Ōlelo’s production studios. Studio production teaches the fundamentals of set design, lighting design, multi-camera operation, floor directing, technical directing, audio board operation, VTR operation, and directing for live production.
FEATHER PACK / PRODUCTION VAN
Fee: $75
Prerequisite: Basic Production or Studio
Class Availability: All Community Media Centers
FeatherPak/Van class provides 16 hours of training and requires supervised volunteer time on 2 FeatherPak or Van productions which results in the ability to produce a program using the FeatherPak and/or production Van. These EFP (Electronic Field Production) units contain multi-camera live switching capability on location. The class teaches the operation of a switcher, CG, two DVCPro decks, and if necessary, up to four cameras.
SPECIALTY WORKSHOPS
